A Universal Orlando Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country have been unveiled today in a recent update from Universal Orlando Florida Resort!
Fans on the east coast of America have been patiently waiting for the arrival of a Super Nintendo World and it’s a mere year away as the latest Epic Universe land was uncovered today with a few more details and concept art.
Let’s explore the lands shall we?
Super Mario Land
Inside Super Mario Land you’ll get to experience multiple attractions including the AR glasses dark ride experience Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge which has proved very popular at other Universal theme parks.
Yoshi’s Adventure is an attraction coming to Universal Orlando Florida despite not being at the sister Hollywood park. After being very well received over in Japan this family-friendly ride takes guests on a. journey of Mushroom Kingdom.
Multiple food options will be available for guests at the sit down Toadstool Cafe restaurant where dishes such as Super Mushroom Soup and Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs will be on the menu!
Yoshi’s Snack Island or Turbo Boost Treats are two walk-up food service counters if you don’t fancy sitting down and you want to explore the rest of the area!
If merchandise is your think you won’t be left empty handed as 1-Up Factory and Mario Motors will have all sorts of goodies to scoop up exclusively available within Super Nintendo World.
Donkey Kong Country
Adjacent to Super Mario Land is Donkey Kong Country and whilst lots of details are still underwrapis we know that Mine-Cart Madness will be the staple rollercoaster attraction within the land.
Guests will get blasted out of a barrel and jump over gaps in the track down to a very clever illusion where the coaster itself runs on track underneath the fake surface track giving a great illusion of it jumping between broken track pieces.
A tropical menu will be on offer for guests along with a range of jungle merchandise. More details on specifics regarding menu items and more are being kept under wraps but the concept art looks absolutely great.
Similar to the attractions elsewhere in the world guests will be able to purchase Power-Up bands which interact with the areas to rack up leaderboard points.
